Whats the best way to sell a computer on craigslist?

The person wants me to deliver it it to them. I want cash. How can I guarantee I don't get robbed basically. You get the picture.

will he/she agree to meet somewhere in public?

Have them pay you first if they won't meet up, most people pay before they get the item ?

I am in the same predicament. I am getting rid of this shitty PowerBook soon and am not sure if I should tell them to pay me through PayPal or something like that.

Whatever you do, don't walk into their house/property with the computer and a weapon. That's seriously the dumbest thing you could do if you haven't already crossed that option out.

sell it on ebay. yes you'll be paying paypal and listing fees but is the money you'll save by doing things via craigslist worth your saftey?

+ the amount you will lose from selling it on eBay in the first place. Selling a computer on fleabay is HELL unless its Apple.
