Air Force confirms $7.5M research request to develop 'gay bomb' to make enemy troops have sex with each other

Wow. 7 million on a bomb to make enemies have sex with each other. I wonder what kinds of things we are currently spending insane amounts of money on.

sensationalize much? this is not particularly earth shattering, since no money was spent. i'm sure they have spent far more money on far crazier ideas.

I believe what they intended on doing was just cloning TFOAF and dropping him and his new brothers onto unsuspecting Iraqi's.

The government spends way too much money on the wrong stuff. There is a plane that was supposed to be built for the military for like 20 years now.

It is supposed to take off like a helicopter but fly like a plane (400+mph and carry a bunch of troops) The military has been saying for years and years that it is flawed, it wont work and that they dont' want it.

But congress keeps putting more and more money into it. And after over 63 million it has still yet to go higher than a 2 feet off the ground before crashing.

edit not that they spent any money on this gay bomb, but I thought I'd put it out there.

That'd be effective though, and fun for the innocent civilians, as long as there's an equal number of malefemales...or the females outnumber the males...Or it's me, with like, 50 models for Victoria Secret and whatnot....Woah, I need to find a way to fund this bomb

LOL, where do you get your info?

It sounds like you're talking about the Osprey, but it flew a lot more than 2 feet off the ground. It's actually been in service for years in limited numbers. There have been four major crashes, including one while carrying a Marine unit on a simulated rescue mission. But it has been flying for years. The cost overruns to make it safer and more reliable have certainly been controversial, but it's still very much in production. 3 of 4 military branches have allocated orders with most going to the Marines, and the 4th branch (Army) is considering it. Israel is also interested in it. So it wouldn't be accurate to say that the military isn't "interested."

Regarding that plane the US spent millions on your government is just miffed it never made THIS[=http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avro_arrow]THIS. So they had to settle for forcing us to stop production of it, and make a $63 million dollar paperweight. Ohhhh!! Sorry, had to.

Wow, I stand corrected. blush That's odd though, his original post almost described the issues with the Osprey to a tee. Except the Osprey's budget far exceeds $63M.

My apologies...
