I am planning to get a Wii tomorrow, and I wanted to see what good games are out there.
I plan to buy two games. I want one that will be a quick pick up game that can entertain me for whenever I a spare 20-30 minutes.
The other game can be anything. More of a weekend type game I guess.
Oh yea, I don't play sport games. =]
Any recommendations? Thanks!

COD 3 is on sale at tru today for 19.95 but is listed at walmart for 50 bucks. So i bought cod3 at 19.95 and returned to walmart for store credit and got mario party 8 which is a 50 dollar game but only payed 20 bucks ;)

I haven't paid full price for any of my games. Either did like i did today or got from freebie sites. I could just do it all for free and mod my wii but I dont' wanna.

I have Paper Mario - it's quite fun. I also have Zelda but I haven't gotten into it yet. My bf seems to like it tho.

Wal-mart around me has become a huge dick about returns. They apparently made up this new rule that you can't return anything w/o a recipt! Not even for store credit. And I bought a wireless network adaptor for my wii and it wont work nomatter what I do and I can't do anything with it. And it's not worth selling it on ebay and getting $3 for it after fees and shipping.
But for the OP, Zelda is awesome. And umm. . . for a quick game, i'm not sure. I have wario ware, but I'm not a big fan. I'd just say play the sports game 20 min here and there till after you beat zelda. Cuz zelda is addicting and you probably wont' really play the other game till after you beat it.

That sucks that your adaptor doesn't work, but I don't feel sorry for anyone who isn't able to rip off Walmart anymore because of this. No wonder Wii games cost $60.
