I'm just kind of wondering... why are you so diehard on defending the PS3? I just sort of lean toward whatever I think provides the best entertainment and go with that.

I love the PS3, sure maybe the Wii if I had a baby.

I mean so far the PS3 is very dependable machine and no one can deny that i just don't support M$ hardware issues. The thing has been out for a year and the can fix RLOD and they cant admit it? well the wii im to old for that not my thing like the ds lite I'm 6'6 and would look like a jackass playing that thing.

I think it's just as bad as people that post threads like this to bash the ps3. There is plenty of bad press for MS but you don't see them being posted here. The 360 fanboys are just as bad as PS3 ones and more numerous.

I have 2 360s but have constant hardware probs. I like the games and live, but when I have to buy a replacement, I am going to seriously consider the PS3. If the thing constantly breaks, it's not providing any kind of entertainment.

I have a wii as well, but there really aren't that many good games. They're trying to avoid a game drought like they had for gamecube by spreading out finished releases (which have been lackluster) and by releasing VC titles. And 480p just doesn't cut it for me.

Who cares....the ps3, the 360, or the wii? They all have their strong points, and they all have their weaknesses.

The truth is out of the 3, Sony is loses their ass a lot more than M$ of Nintendo, whether you like their console more or not. It's just the way it is right now.

Honestly, I'm no fan boy, but I love to see Sony fail. They have a tendency to make things super proprietary, which causes all kinds of problems.

I've got my 360, and FreePay supposedly shipped my PS3 yesterday....I'll tell you this I'm not taking the PS3 out of the box.

i never understood and never will understand people and console loyalty to the extend of a war of words.
video games are video games.
if a game rocks it rocks, who cares what system it is for.
I have a ps3, a gamecube, 3 pcs, a psp, a nintendo, a supernintendo, an xbox, a 360 and probably something else i forgot.
i didnt get a wii b/c i got a ps3 free and felt three nextgen systems is too many )
my thoughts are
ps3 = blue ray player and i love the hd discs
ps3 = pc once i install linux
ps3 = gaming system whose potential will be realized
360 = gaming system whose potential is partially realized and has kick arse games (gears is the best game ever when the online play is taken into account)
360/ps3 = excellent multimedia system

imho, i only gain by having both systems. i just hope that i use both enough to warrant having them since i am currently addicted to rappelz[=http//rappelz.gpotato.com/index.php]rappelz
