CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY IM GETTING A PICTURE OF A DOG THAT SAYS PS. YOURE BANNED. I HAVENT BEEN HERE BUT A COUPLE OF DAYS. I COULDNT HAVE DONE ANYTHING THAT WRONG.
HELP!!!!

I would guess you were trying to login using an IP address that had been previously used by a scammer that had been banned.

Since you're logged in now, it's not anything to be concerned with.

yea maybe you were at school or library (public place) sometimes you get that when you log in but if its at home then i dunno

Yes. Many scammers use AOL, so many AOL IPs are banned from FiPG.

83.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot. P

Yes, it's a fact that scammers favor AOL, for the same reasons that many freebie sites' TOS forbid AOL signups. Due to the dynamic AOL proxy scheme, it makes it much easier to scam and commit fraud.

That's a great idea. An ounce of prevention yadda yadda yadda.
If the freesites worked on it together, they could compile a monster list of banned IPs, that would cut down on frauding quite a bit.

Except that most people have dynamic IPs. Mine changes everytime I reset the modem (which isn't often, but still happens).

Only thing I could think of is some Java app that identifies your computer, but that will never happen.
