Since now all that is all is basically baseball, I am kind of getting into baseball more and more, although it can be boring sometimes (gotta support my phillies)

For me it's like this
1) College basketball (nothing like March Madness and IU basketball)
2) NFL Football
3) College football (it's a toss up, I just prefer NFL since my team is actually good, but I still support my Hoosiers!)

Since I can't choose 2, I chose hockey. It's always so exciting, the announcers are crazy, and it's just all-around a fun sport to watch. My second choice would be football...and it's a close second. )

I see no option for Billiards, so I voted Boxing. Football and Golf would be close behind. The rest I can't really tolerate to watch. Played baseball for years and loved it but could never stand to watch it.

In nascar at least there is a tension that steadily builds as a race goes on. There are so many things that can happen and do happen that I can't take my eyes off it.

It's because the players really don't seem to care, as if there's no passion in it. If you watch people playing a sport and it feels like they're only doing it to get paid, then nobody will end up watching it.

yeah world cup soccer pretty much rules all. NFL is obviously #1 here, they own the USA as far as sports go and the games are easy to watch.
I'll put the NBA in a distant but commanding 2nd though. College basketball can not match the excitement and talent the NBA brings to the table. It is my personal favorite sport to watch, because the athletes are out there competing against each other and have their moment to shine and win a game completely by themselves. However an excellent coach working with a good strong team will usually overcome this and it's great to see the battle plans at work. I think the NBA's playoff system is also the best in american pro sports.
The last 1/3 of an NFL game can become monotonous strategy. Running down the clock and punting the ball hoping your opponent runs out of time trying to score from a bad field position.

yeah I play fantasy baseball so i'll catch the occasional game, but i'm more interested in the box scores and highlights.
TV poker sucks for the most part. I like to watch uninterrupted games, a site like liveatthebike.com has great live NL action with commentators and usually famous guests. Each episode is about 5 hrs of continuous play.
