I just logged on, the quests take so freaking long because the person who gives them to you just tells you "head southeast out of comb" and most of time you find the place, sometimes you don't, but walking there still takes FOREVER. I wish it was like Oblivion which gives you an arrow pointing to your destination. |

Yes, the arrow is lame, but I wish I had it sometimes.

So are those locations taken from an in game map or something? Did a player have to graph it or anything? It looks a bit too nice to be player made.

That's the default map, someone added all the little dots and text pop-ups.

Pretty nice that is.

Heh, I remember when I used to play Starcraft way too much. I'd get home, get on the computer, and just play custom maps all day...those were the days. Then I moved onto Red Alert 2 and Diablo 2. Those games were way too fun. I liked Red Alert because it was very similar to Starcraft, and I got into Diablo because of my friend.
Then my old computer messed up and that's when I moved onto consoles.
I got into Xbox live for 2 & 1/2 years with Halo 2 and some other minor games. Then I got a little tired of all that stuff and moved onto CS. That got really boring really quick. It was just too hard to get good at that game so I just stopped playing it.
It's hard to compete with people who've been playing it for around 5 years when you've been playing it for 5 weeks.

Now I just take it easy. My Xbox 360 messed up, so I just sent it in to BestBuy warranty and they're going to send me a gift card in place of the 360 for $430 or so. Maybe I'll buy another one when I have more time. In the mean time I'm going to sell the gift card and use the cash towards something more useful.

Jeebus. About 4hrs downloading/installing upgrades shock I created a character Dairan on Gladden. 5 minutes into the game lotroclient.exe crashes. Seems someone else has this issue on the forums. I'll try again tomorrow...

Hopefully its better than The Matrix Online was. That game sucked more cock than Lindsay Lohan in a nightclub bathroom.

Nothing can be as bad as that game...

Is it a party based MMO or can it be soloed mostly like WoW? I ask because I don't like most other people in MMOs. I had thought about trying it out, signed up for the beta, and just never played but let me know. I might have to take a look before Warhammer comes out.

You can do a lot solo but there is a lot party too. I think its a good mix. I think you will have to grab people from time to time...

I am kind of afraid to start a MMORPG. I am afraid I would get extremely addicted and be on it constantly. I love RPGs like Final Fantasy and stuff hence my screen name but I would probably end up dieing of an MMORPG overdose LOL

Oh yeah MMORPG are super addicting. WoW had me addicted forever, but thank god, I ran out of the subscription, so that was over really fast. For the most part, they are really a lot of fun, with the interaction between others being the main component of fun gameplay.
