Should I Keep Him?

I just got a lajo case for my ipod in the mail today. And it came with an iShade that turned my iPod screen to deep crystal blue.

But it has a defect on it. When you have the backlight on(or angle it in the light) and you look at the center, it's a little lighter. It's not as deep blue in the middle. But it's like a centimeter round radius. The sticky stuff that
makes it stick to the ipod is coming apart. There is a little hole in the middle. I know it won't fall apart or anything but I'm wondering if I should ship it back. It seems little but it gets really distracting and annoying when you scroll through the ipod.

But on the other hand the funny thing is when you press the screen on
other parts than the middle, then the hole widens and stretches it's
"arm" towards where you pressed. It reminds me of an amoeba. It's
actually kind of fun to press on it and watch it reach toward you. I
might just keep it like that and press on it when I'm bored.

I think I'll change my iPods name to "Ameoba"... Heh, this is funny.
Do you think I should keep it or get another?

your best bet is to send it back. it has a defect. you deserve a perfect product.

Your right. Maybe I can keep both. But I think it is kind of funny how it does that.

Its gonna take forever to send it back and get a new one, i would just order new ones it will come quicker, hell the cost is like 3.00 or something, but thats just me

Whoa....can what you're seeing be described as a "wet" look? (Like water got between the iShade and the iPod screen)

You described it as spreading when you touched it, and that's what's usually called the "wet effect".

That's normal, and a sideaffect of the material used to produce the iShade. Al you need do is to flex the iShade a few times so that the center is bent out, and won't touch the screen as much. Just the edges need to have contact, and most of the pressure keeping it on is the edges and skin anyway.

If, however, the iShade looks defective, even when you look at it in your hand, then you still may not have to send it back.

Lajo has a habit of replacing faulty product even without the product being sent back. Additionally, if he sent you the wrong item, he'll often send you the right one, as long as you give the other away.

Either way, he won't let you be out of pocket. Just post the problem on the macool forum at www.lajo.biz

I think your iShade is fine though.
