New Guitar Hero III Songs and Info

Here are the newly announced songs. For the first time ever in anything, I like every single one of them

Guitar Hero III will be available on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii and will feature an abundance of new modes, including a multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, boss battles, unlockable content and authentic rock venues.

More importantly, wannabe rock gods can get their fingers in a twist with the all-new wireless guitar controllers, with the Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 getting the Gibson Les Paul and PS2 the proud recipient of a Gibson Kramer. What's more, the guitars will have removable faceplates that allow fans to personalise their guitars, plus they'll include a new button colour design for "an even greater authentic feel and rock experience".

In addition Guitar Hero III will include an expanded online multiplayer in which axe-shredders worldwide can compete in head-to-head battles to prove they're the ultimate rock legend. As for the tracks you'll be rocking along to, Activision has revealed that GHIII features more master recordings than ever before, with the first tracks announced as follows

The Metal - Tenacious D

My Name is Jonas - Weezer

Knights of Cydonia - Muse

Cult of Personality - Living Colour

Barracuda - Heart

Don't play those songs if you don't like them, every GH has bad songs, they can't please everyone with every song.

Damn, less than a year and I can't wait...I personally want to see what it's like online, it'll be interesting because I've never played the co-op mode, don't feel like spending money on a second guitar.

Has anyone heard about the game Rock Star by Harmonix? Supposedly going to have mic, drums, and guitar...Sounds cool but I don't see how they would ship that thing, not to mention the cost shock

So now we got GHIII, Halo 3, and GTA all coming out within a couple months of everyone. Eh, works for me )

Yeah I have. It's going to cost so much money to get all of the equipment for it and I don't know if it's going to be that good. I'd rather have them focus on doing one thing well (for example just guitar or just drums).

That's exactly what I was talking about with my friend, we both just want to see Drum Hero (actually I think they have something called Drum Villian coming out, I know the name is trademarked by the Guitar Hero creator), I just don't see Rock Star being worth it...That's why I'm hoping a rich friend of mine buys it instead )

Ummm I wasn't being negative, I just don't like the tracklisting. Don't get so easily offended, maybe? It's just a game, I really don't care that much.
