So, we all had that one movie (or maybe a few movies) that we watched repeatedly when we were wee ones that are admittedly terrible movies.

Some are even so bad that you can barely stomach watching them again, yet you always find yourself coming back for more

Here are a couple of mine

Beastmaster
Red Dawn

"An official Red Ryder carbine action two-hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time"

Ralphie wants a BB Gun for Christmas, but his mother, the teacher, and even Santa give him a hard time. "You'll shoot your eye out kid!" This tale is the main storyline in the movie "A Christmas Story"[/color1beb4dfd86]

The movie for me has to be The Outsiders. My sister watched that damn movie every day for about 6 months. She could do all the dialogue with the sound off, word for word. I heard it in my sleep!!!

I think I watched Weird Science WAAAAY too many times (I used to know the lines by heart) and now when I watch Short Circuit I want to jab my eyes out with a pen. As for War Games, I remember really really liking it when I watched it but I watched it again and I was like OK. As Tholek said I think it's dated now so it doesnt hit me so much anymore but I havent watched it again since like 2003 so who knows, it just came to mind.

Please tell me you didn't just call A Christmas Story craptastic. Please. That's one of the best movies ever made. I don't care if it gets shown way too much during Christmas, that doesn't change how great the movie is.

But to answer the original question. It's hard because a lot of the movies in question, I haven't watched since I was a kid. Chances are, I'd find them to be craptacular, but I haven't watched them in years. But Howard the Duck and the Police Academy movies could be put on my list. It's not a movie, but I watched some Knight Rider as an adult and couldn't believe I used to love that show.

What I find fascinating are the movies/tv shows that I loved as a kid because I thought they were exciting, but didn't realize until I grew up just how funny they were. That list would include Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, and the 60s Batman TV series.
