My current CC gives me 1 point per dollar spent, redeemable at 2500 points for 25 bucks. Due to the high price of fuel, i am wanting to get a CC that will help me out. Any suggestions?

Citi Dividend Platinum Select used to be great, but they changed the system. My primary card now is a Citi Rewards Diamond Preferred...not sure what the numbers are but it's nothing earth shattering, I just like their customer service.
I got $250 cashback for opening a Chase Freedom card...has pretty good stuff (forgot the numbers, but they aren't bad).

Funny you said that bc. I just went to creditcards.com and compared cards and Citi Dividend Platinum Select seems to be the best that combines all the rewards I am looking for
Earn 5% cash back at supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, convenience stores and utilities including cable for 6 months, and 2% thereafter1. Plus, 1% cash back on other purchases with this credit card.2 Also enjoy no annual fee1, travel benefits and much more.
Anyways, I was approved right away for it. Chase Freedom thing sounds good, i will go check it out.

The chase deal is dead. I remember seeing it a month back but didn't care for it. Oh well.

Sounds like Citi has some good rewards. I've already got a GM Card that gives me 5% cashback towards my next vehicle purchase. I'd like to get another card though, for when I travel for work. Airline tickets, and food/hotel would add up to a decent amount of cash back!
the discover card was awesome in terms of rewards but they are changing their rewards system in the next couple months.
http//www.discovercard.com/apply/gas/ << even gives 5 percent on auto maintenance.
http//www.citicards.com/cards/wv/refer.do?B=M&sc=4TZZ52H6 << 6 percent and 1 cent for every mile u drive

i picked up the jetblue amex business card and the rewards have been great. they also gave me an excellent line of credit for my score/age/situation. CS has been top notch, too. i really like amex.

I have a Hess Gas Card - 10% rebate on gas purchases for the first 90 days, %5 rebate on gas purchases for the lifetime of the card. Sadly, I couldn't find an incentivized version of the card, so I had the apply by sending in an application.
amex is one of the best cc companies out there.
yes there not accepted everywhere but when they are they have amazing warranty and what not.
they cs is nice and willing to bend over backwards to make sure your happy.
they will dispute any charge for you and never lose.
there rewards program is top notch.
and they always offer insane credit limits.

That is really good! Too bad I never heard of Hess gas stations or seen them around where I live, plus I only buy Chevron premium gas.
