Microsoft banning 360s with modified firmwares.

If you've seen anyone lagging really bad in games, its not always a hack for the game. There are these switch thingies that make you lag really bad in games for everyone else. I have seen people doing it in resistance on ps3.

also, i think it's kind of lame they are banning from the entire live network. and another thing, they can't even produce a 360 console that lasts much longer than a year. that's not right at all. you're expected to pay $400 for a console and then it just burns out on you after the warranty expires then you have to fork over another $160 for them to either fix your console or give you a refurbished one.

I almost did it so i didn't have to shell out $60 for a copy of Crackdown to get the halo3 beta but I did the "honest" thing and decided to just go buy the game so I could play halo3...

Good thing I never modded mine... I modded xbox1 at first so I could copy games to the harddrive and use XBMC, etc. Modded xbox1's are still the shit with media... you can use those like a home media center and shit. It's amazing... There is a big difference between modding to cheat and modding to play "backups"... I like modding for "backups" and homemade programs, but modding a console in order to cheat in an online game on xbox live, makes you one sad mofo.
