One of the creepier pests, it's a Centipede. Specifically, the type that gets in your house, rather than the traditional garden type.

Everytime I see one of those in a place I'm staying at, I revert back to me overly-girly self. I squeal, shiver, shake, run, screech, and I even attempt to use an entire can of Raid on the thing. oops I really hate things that have more than 4 legs, and can move really fast.

They seem to get in through my bathroom window. I dunno if they're trying to get in out of the rain, or are looking for spiders to eat, but I always welcome them with a shoe. ;)

Reviving the thread so I don't have to make a new one. I just wanted an excuse to post some pictures from my new camera. Don't pick on my dog, he virtually has no thyroid gland so that is why he is so fat.

nice... frogs are awesome... I'm actually going to use about 130 bucks I'm getting on wednesday to get tehm a huge 60 gallon tank from www.glasscages.com and after I set it up and all I might just end up getting a few more and make it a breeding colony ) I love all my animals..

I think my sis had an african clawed frog at one point, but that didnt last long.. regardless of the fact that she is 5 years older than me, she's quite incompitent when it comes to taking care of things.. much less than I am..

Yeah, he is a beagle. He is like 7 years old or somewhere around there and we got him when he was a tiny puppy, like a month old, at some beagle breeding farm. I picked him because he was playing tug-o-war with some other beagle puppy and he won then started biting the dog (playing of course). Who have known that he would turn out to have a thyroid gland problem and get really fat. It's okay though, he is still the cutest dog in the world.

My dog I've had for I think 11 years passed away today ( She was a black lab and something mixed (not sure what, she was a stray) that weighed about 125lbs. She was very protective of my family and was a great dog! She had bad hip problems and they had got much worse within the past week. She was most likely going to be put down later this week unless she would have gotten much better because she would have been suffering, but she died on her own in her sleep last night, so at least she went peacefully.

That is so bizarre. Sadly, Pepsi, my golden retriever/chow mix passed away last night also. My grandparents had been taking care of him since we moved back from CO. They grew really attached to him these past years. My grandma was crying when she called my mom to tell her. They are going to cremate him cry

Forgot to say, he lived to the age of 18 -- ancient in doggy years. And since this is a pic thread

awww, I'm sorry guys.... ( TJ, I had a lab that was identical to yours. It's kind of freaky actually. Her hips gave out too and we had to put her down... It's always a sad thing, but you just have to tell yourself that she's not suffering anymore, and that she's in a better place D
