If I need to dispute to paypal someone refunding my money for going red, what exactly do you tell them? Does paypal know about the freebie world, or understand it at all? I am just not sure exactly what to say to them to get my money back from the person. Any help would be appreciated!

you most likely won't win no matter what since its a non tangible item. a user i have a dispute open against has a few other people with open disputes and she also admitted in the dispute i had open with her that she did me wrong and that the money would be refunded. paypal sided with her even though it was so blatant she was a frauder.
hehehhehe

Well, you don't really want Paypal to know it was for such a thing (green for freebies), since Paypal does not honor claims for intangible items. Hopefully you categorized the payment for an item rather than a service, otherwise you might be out of luck.
For now, just state that you did not get your item, don't clarify more than you have to.
^^true, u just have to hope the person don't answer within 7 days and have funds in his account. Other then that, ur probably out of luck.
I got a paypal question myself....
I recently withdrawn cash to my bank, on paypal the status shows "completed" but the money is still not in my bank. Is this normal?
only 1 business day have pass though.

Is there a way to tell if I marked it as a good or service? I know I started off marking it as a service, but once I got into it more and saw other people getting scammed and heard people say things about a good or a service I then marked everything as a good. Does anyone know if I can chcek that?

You will usually lose for virtual goods, but recently I did againts Bigboi2004 and was refunded, i think the only thing that helped was I forgot to clear my shipping address, so they treated it as an item. I just put that he violated TOS and was considered a fraud. good luck...

So if they other person doesn't respond in 7 days I can escalate the claim?

you can escaladate ANY time
and you better do it right away if you're sure he's a scammer
because you need to wait 10 days after to see if he answers, then if he doesn't you win

when they ask for additional information about the claim, I am not really sure what to put...

Ok, so I opened a dispute saying I never received the item I was supposed to...and then the guy sent back stating the site and his email he greened on. But...it was a different site and a different email address. It now says waiting for my response but I don't know how to reply...there is no where for me to reply to it. Can someone help, I'm paypal retarded right now.

I can assume that is the only thing I can do...but when I have the dispute open on my computer it doesn't give me the option to reply. It onl gives me the option to cancel or go back to my resolution center.
