hey everyone.
so i just got done seeing the 3rd Spiderman.....and you know, i love these movies. I really hope tobey and kirsten stay on for more of them. anyway, of those who have seen it now. what did you think?

I'm not sure yet. I know it's not Spiderman 3. Probably 1 was the best.

I'm voting for 1.

[spoilera23ad3f579]This one was too much drama. They had the whole introduction and then it was like they realized they were running out of time so they stuck all the venom and sandman crap at the end..

The cheesiest part was the sandman apologizing and whatnot. Haha. duummb.[/spoilera23ad3f579]

I also voted for number 1 ... the second one was a bit cheesy, and this one ... well, I already wrote my thoughts here.

Is Topher Grace any good in it?

04-05-2007 04:30:12

Does Snaggletooth do a better job at acting this time around? I turned it onto Cartoon Network the other day and they had Spiderman 1 playing. For the first five minutes I thought it was some after-school crappy tv show with bad acting. I am kind of biased though. The only superhero movie that I have ever really liked for the most part is Batman Begins.

Topher Grace wasn't bad, kind of funny actually but he'll just always remind me of That 70's Show, even this character had a bit of Eric in him.

I can't wait to see it. At the moment, I liked 2 a lot better than 1.

I love Topher Grace. And I heard he had to beef up for this movie.
He is so hot anyway, and with and extra 20lbs I bet he looks extra hot.

I would love to go to the theatre and see it. But I'll have to buy it for my son when it comes out on DVD anyway. Might as well save the $ til then.

Doesn't Topher play Venom in the movie. Which one would you rather date?

That is a hot suit. What do you think of the guy from Sideways that's going to be in this movie. I can't think of his full name, but it was the guy from Wings that was the maintenance man. He used to be smokin' hot.
Which character does he play in this movie?

He play Sandman I believe

I read somewhere that Toby was saying he was done with Spiderman movies, he said something to the effect that all things have to end or something. I'm still looking for it, but no luck.

justinag06

and then he said I'll do it if it is good and rami comes back too. Which means he is just positioning himself for tons of money, after this movie makes tons of money, and the studios come back and try to sign them all again to make tons more money.

Yes, Topher plays Venom and the Wings guy, Thomas Haden Church is the Sandman.

Thats what i have been hearing too....i think they could at least have one more in them. there was still alot left unresolved at the end of the 3rd one.

[quote62e3f9dfe6="secondjob"]Very disappointed with this movie, it was like they made it to be a joke.[/quote62e3f9dfe6]

I admit that it did seem to have a differant feel then the first 2, but i dont htink it was made to be a joke. i think they just crammed to much into the one movie. definatly could have been 2 movies out of the 3rd one. it was still a great movie though.

p.s. will be seeing it my second time tomorrow nightD

I really liked it. I can't say I'm a big Spiderman fan, but this one I liked. It had a few cheesy parts like [spoilerd034e0c17d]when spiderman was right in front of the american flag [/spoilerd034e0c17d] I was a really big Harry fan, he made a great villain for the first 3/4 of the movie too. The ending could have been better, but I felt it was suiting.

It was very meh for us. Cheesy, overdramatic, and badly paced. The first half was a snooze fest. Then it was just stupid when Parker went all Fallout Boy. And oh yes let's squish all the action in at the end. Definitely didn't live up to the massive hype. The best actor in the movie was JJJ ) His character is just hilarious. They should end it here and not continue down the slope with more sequels.

[spoiler043d872031]I saw it last night. It was pretty good. When it ended I had mixed feelings. Because it felt like a love story. But looking back, it as a pretty good movie. I just was looking for more regular action. Spidey saved NO regular civilian in that movie (except gwen.)Now thinking back though, it was a pretty good movie. I hope they all return for 4. Dudes, I just saw this movie last night and I hated it.

[spoiler8bbf61c594]What was up with the emo hair cut? And then when they had the close-up and he was wearing eye-liner, I expected him to start listening to Good Charlotte or something.

And all the fighting was the same; they fight in mid-air and use falling debris to launch themselves farther, and then at the last second latch onto something and land safely on the ground.[/spoiler8bbf61c594]

I actually walked out on it with my friends for about half an hour, around the middle part (during the jazz number, so I guess I missed the best part).

I'll get to watch it about 100 times if I like it or not. My 8 year old is a huge fan and I'm sure he'll love it no matter what.

I kind of hope that they make a fourth just to redeem the third. I can't imagine such a promising franchise to end on such a shitty note.

What's with all the blacked out posts? Why would that be done to a post?

ilanbg

05-05-2007 14:21:49

A Hart If you put writing in a [ spoiler ] tag, it blacks out all the text in that tag, and only makes it visible when you put your mouse over it.

This way, we can discuss points of the movie without ruining the movie for those that still want to see it.

It was not bad. I saw it at the drive in last night with a non quiet baby in the back seat. grrrrr....

I would have liked it better if the cheese content was about 30% less.
