This is almost as bad as the old lady who sued McDonald's for 87 Million when she burnt herself after she spilt the coffee on her lap in the drive-in.... Wasn't properly informed that it was hot....

I hope that judge suffers a slow and painful death and they have a viewing of him naked in an open casket on the mall in DC, of course with his pants draped over the coffin. What an idiot [/rant]

You'd hope that the couple could sue for the emotional trauma and have a better chance of winning than the original suer. lol

The fact that this guy is a judge kind of sucks. I highly doubt this ass will get away with it though.

^^ What's funny is that happened at the McDonalds right across the street from the University. I pass by it every day, but didn't realize it until I saw it online somewhere.

Just goes to show you how messed up our government really is. We have a judge here in Iowa that puts people in prison for drunk driving, yet he just got another slap on the wrist and 90 days probation for his 3rd drunk driving in 2 years!! Now tell me where's the logic in THAT????

Says in the article that the judge is doing it for customers. Does that mean I will get part of the money. This dude needs to get off his high horse.

Not his ass by any means, but him as a whole stands a chance.

...Yeah, he definitely should not win this.

what is the problem with bringing something from another site without saying "hey everyone, this came from this site, i didn't see the news article and make a post about it"?

I just don't see what the problem is with a post that came from somewhere else? he is jsut spreading information...

Not to mention the fact that he linked to yahoo news and it's on the front page of Yahoo so maybe he didn't get it from Digg. That of course isn't as much fun as jumping to conclusions.

I really can't see the judge winning. Maybe I'll donate to the dry cleaners' cause later.

The fact he is a judge is the worst part. He should be debarred...

otherone

04-05-2007 10:08:31

The sad thing is, he will probably win. Remember what Bush said, "Were the have's and the have more's" Damn Gov't.

Stroid

04-05-2007 10:28:31

there is no way he will win no possible way...and he will probably get debarred and hopefully charged with abuse of power (not the exact terminology) what an asshole

I agree that the judge is taking this way too far....

Though, secretly aren't we all hoping that the supermarket or restaurant we go to forgets to put out the "wet floor sign"?

Did I just say that? No, no, no the thought of throwing myself on the floor never crossed my mind. twisted
