I have about 2 days left on the free month subscription and when I logged in it said

"The account associated with the phone number and password that you entered has been terminated. If you would like to re-register this account, please click here.

If you believe that you have reached this page in error, please contact CallWave Customer Care."

Does this mean that my account has been cancelled and that i dont haveto call to cancel online??? I think that is what it means but i dont know how it cancelled by itself?? Any commets would be appreciated!

Thanks

It means just what it said. If you never called to activate it they terminate it themselves.

I'm just curious what he means by having to "call to cancel online."

Who knows. As far as I knew you had to call to cancel from the number you registered with. However, you also had to activate the account by calling a number (sent by email) from the number you registered with. If you never activated, you don't have to cancel. I'm not sure if you have to activate to get credit, though. I would assume you not, because that would be a pretty clear indication that one you didn't actually evaluate the service.

I used to have this service. I cancelled it online. I then had to call my phone company to cancel call forwarding though.

Well, my point was "calling to cancel online"...that's contradictory just in a span of 4 words.

Collateral, how would one know if he activated call forwarding? I recently cancelled my CallWave because I didn't want to have to change my #...they gave me the message to cancel call forwarding if it was activated. How do I know if I need to do so?

LOL IDK. Call your phone company. See if call forwarding is set up. It is only $.30 a month anyways. + I had the callwave service for 1+ years.
