Hey all,
i was just wondering who here still trades and who here just talks on the forum? I was just curious becuase since the time I have been a part of this group, it seems that the ability to trade has decreased.....just curious.

I put no. I try to, but I really havn't gotten any trades in a while.

A few but it's hard.

I just chat now, my TR at A4F ended up higher (for some reason when I started I got more trades there) so I started limiting my trading to there, cuz it was below 4 here, and I figured I might as well have one really good TR (it's +52 there now).

I have to say the chit chat here is better though. I hit the Off-Topic forums here everyday. FIPG makes me laugh a LOT, many clever and witty folks here. I like both A4F and FIPG equally, but I like them both better because of their differences.

It's difficult to find people to trade with that actually follow through, but my main reason for being here is to trade..

browsing off topic is just a plus..... and time passer.

I put yes. I wish I could do green for green again as opposed to cash trades.

Well I really wish I could, but it's pretty much impossible now....

I said no, I only do diy/point sites now, referrals are very hard to find now a days.

I had success in the last few weeks, but the last 6-7 days have been horrendous. Hardly anyone signs up here anymore. We need to advertise this place somehow.

It does seem to be really really hard to get refs who actually go through with the trade...I joined only a few months ago and in that short time, it already seems to be a lot tougher. How I wish I'd found about this a couple of years ago...you guys are lucky!

It seems the huge concensice is that no one follows through now days. I have posted and posted in the trading post, but the forum is soooo flooded with crap posts and poeple just trying to make a quick buck that no one can get any honost legitament trades out there... and every one that does reply, never follows through.....i am finding the same with A4F as well.

[quoteb5ac78041f="Wolfeman"]I just pay[/quoteb5ac78041f]

Almost every post is someone paying for a ref. Because of this, prices have been driven through the roof. I see people paying like $30 for a $40/ref site. Just doesnt seem to make sense.

I remember joining almost 2 years ago and I used to get so psyched trying to get my FREEPAY PSP, IPOD, 360 by trading people for refs. This place seemed like a big secret and I loved it. Now the trade forum is just littered with......

"BEST TRADER. HELPING OUT NEWBS. PAYING CASH"

"$5000 PER REF. FREE MONEY"

These posts are a dime a dozen anymore and it just doesnt give me that same feeling when I finally completed a long hard site id be working on by trading.

i totally agree. its ridiculous and it makes tradeing near improsible....lets start a new site where there is a pay limit....i have seen some 50 dollar payments for referrals.....WTF!

Tholek

I can't afford that, hence...

phriq

01-05-2007 21:03:20

everybody is like "SWEET A FREE XBOX 360!!!",,,,yet its more like " sweet a FREE xbox 360 (for the low low price of 300 dollars of payed referrals)" ya ok, or i could save the hastle and jsut buy one......freebie sites should now be "amazon.com(with more hastle)

I think some things need to change. MAybe splitting off the Trading Forum like A4F with both a "Ref 4 Ref" and "$ 4 Ref" Section

I hear ya. I joined in March and was very excited to go green for people and get paid. It seemed so easy -- 1 person paid me $60 to green for them on 1 site. Another paid me $55 for 1 green. The rest were average between $15-$25 but hey that was awesome when it only took me at the most 1/2 hour to read over Terms for offers.

Then I ran out of offers and didn't know what to do. That's when someone told me I now had to get my own referrals in order to make money. So when I switched over -- I got my first site done in less than a week and the 2nd the next week.

Then nothing -- especially the last 1-2 weeks. Not so fun anymore.

Oh well, I had fun while it lasted.

gmario

It's hard since 99.9% are paying to get sites done

andchlan

02-05-2007 12:38:42

Same here got quite a few referrals from here in march but since mid april I have not been able to get even one to go green. I can't pay on green so I pay on approval. I am beginning to rethink this.

I just told my husband about this and he got excited because I did complete one site in March but now I have nothing good to show anymore.

What does everyone suggest we do?

Go get some friends, thats the easiest way to complete nowadays.

Plus you can pay them like $10 per green and they get excited!

I dont understand how newbies in the trading post are paying so high for greens. Where is the profit in it? Also, how are they getting TR credit when they are less than 4tr.

I've been trying to trade here but so far can hardly get anyone interested. I'm new here and it seems only other new people are willing to do it.

i suggest you start paying on green, or you'll have to wait a while till theres another wave of new users who are willing to wait for you to finish a site to get paid

some of you with the 200 or so TR how did you get that?! what is the best way to trade, becuase i have noticed that you run out of offers fast, and when your run out. you have to pay, but prices have been driven SOOO high! are freebie sites becoming a thing of the past?

phriq

02-05-2007 21:00:05

Maybe we should all leave freebie site trading and start doing promotional sites where you try products to get them;)
