Well I just got my 6 month bill and it seems rather large but maybe thats just me. How do your bills stand up to this?

Bodily Injury = 25,000 person / 50,000 occourrence
Property Damage = 25,000 occourrence.
Uninsured Motorist = 25,000 person / 50,000 occourence
Underinsured Motorist = 25,000 person / 50,000 occourance

1 full years comes to $630.40

those are the lowest legal limits here in NY, for being 18 and just having liability it's not that for a price. What kind of car is it?

Just liability? or do you have comprehensive and colision?
What type of car?

I have a 2001 Ford Escort ZX2
I was paying $394 for 6 months with State Insurance would have been $430 if I included your Uninsured and Underinsured.

But I switched to Geico and I am paying $275.50 for 6 months but only have 15,000/30,000 for the uninsured and underinsured. So it's $551 for a year.

So I'd say your rates are pretty good.

gmario

30-04-2007 12:39:47

Full cover baby ) and a V Dubb GL? don't you mean GLI? lol

coolvaughan

30-04-2007 12:54:11

No its just the GL, 4 door sedan thinger.

Ya, I have strictly liability plus Un and Under insured.

I called Geico up and they said I didn't have enough of a driving record since I have only been driving with insurance for 1 1/2 years. Progressive quoted me 1600 a year with absolutely no property coverage.

I guess mine isn't as bad as I thought compared to some of you crackers

Tiptronic is fucking garbage. My buddy has that in his jetta and he thinks it's cool. I tried it and dont' understand the point. It's the same thing as an automatic shifting and all the power is lost. And it really isnt' fun. And if you don't shift the car does it for you anyway.

edit I've been dropping the f-bomb a lot on the forums since I found out drive is being cancelled. ?

Im not sure if its called PIP or no-fault law or w/e but we gotta have 10k insurance that people get incase of medical injury regardless of fault. Its not mandatory in most states and that is one of the reasons why rates in FL are higher than in other states im guessing.

I pay 1272 a year for my 2005 Z71 and my wife's 2005 Expedition... You're pretty much screwed as a male until you hit 25 or get married... I know before I was married I was paying 205 a month for my Mustang GT.... Big difference.
