Block Party this weekend here at BU. Drinking in public is awesome.

I dunno why it's allowed but there is one weekend a year that you can just go out and drink and the cops dont' do anythign about it. They dont' even care about age or anything. They are just there to ensure people don't do really stupid shit.

I didn't know you go to BU. My sister graduated from their last year, good ol times up in boston, nice city indeed, too bad the sox suck. Anyway- The police were pretty dumb when we were there (Obviously hasn't changed much, the ATHF scare really proved that point) and they thought that my moms NYP plate was New York Police instead of New York Press, so, we got a bunch of escorts and shit everywhere. It was hilarious

Thats awesome...there are like 5 streets in the nation you can have an open container on the st. and it just so happens on of them is on my campus. It's pretty sweet, they through a "fair" type thing (although all you so is get drunk) every year where everyone gets wasted in the st in front of the bars.

I know George Washington will not be a huge party school�hell, it doesn't even have a campus�but if there aren't parties on a semi-regular basis (i.e. at least weekly/monthly), I am going to be pissed.

My GPA will be directly negatively proportional to how much fun I have there. If I hate it, my GPA will be like a 4.0 or something.

You dont' get wasted that early. You just start drinking that early. I for example started drinking at 958am and paced myself a little bit. I was fine with the beer, then my buddy broke out some homemade mead. After about a bottle of that I got pretty drunk (I didn't realize how strong that was.) Then at like 1 we went up the the actual block party and that's when things turned bad. You know you are drunk when you are drinking liquer that is being poured off the roof for you lol So I lasted until about 4. Then I came back and slept till about 730 and went back out.

Block party is awesome and drinking at 10am isn't something that you do everyday. Just about 1-2 times a year. And it can't be wrong if 3000 people on the same block are doing it. roll

In college when I'd go to UCLA football we'd be getting smashed at like 9am and there was this thing called ISVT (Inter Sorority Volleyball Tournament) and we'd be in the park at 8am drinking 40s watching cute girls play volleyball. Drinking that early is a different kind of drunk...
