Some Good R&B/Hip-Hop?

So I'm lookin' for some good R&B/Hip-Hop for a dance party..

So far I've got
- R Kelly stuff
- Jay Z
- and some others

Anyone reccommend some good stuff? Nothing really "hardcore rap" or any heavy rap, just things like R Kelly, with a good beat.

I don't know if this is really what you are looking for...but I hear Kelly Rowland's new stuff is good (I've only heard one song, and I like it)

Or just look up hip hop/rap music charts on billboard. It gives you all the hot stuff right now

Mos Def's first album (some of it, anyway), like Mathematics and New World Water (or something like that, I don't remember); lots of Kweli's work. Definition and REDefinition.

Dr. Octagon's new album has some good tracks (see "Ants").

De La Soul, Cypress Hill, DMX, The Fugees, Wyclef Jean.

The problem with a lot the suggestions in this thread are that they are songs most people aren't familiar with! If they don't know it...they'll be reluctant to dance to it.

I promote for a bar...thus I'm thinking about the bar/club scene more than the party scene, but it applies universally. The hip-hop & RnB parties here mix in reggaeton, soca, etc. too, but if they know it...they're more likely to dance ot it.
