I want to get hired as a PC repair guy over the summer, and I am making my resume and going to submit it to monster. I have been looking in the classifieds too, nothing. I am going to go around town and submit my resume to local shops as well once I get it finished. Am I missing anything or do I have all the bases covered?

All you have to do at Geek Squad besides set up someone's router is scan their hard drive for viruses/adware. And charge a PANTLOAD for it.

Do this Tell your local cable company (or find a smaller one nearby) that you will pay them some % of what you make, if they send some business your way, or ask them if they need a PC Repair guy.
Cable companies get calls all the time (I know) with someone complaining that their internet isn't working. 99% of the time, this is their own fault and has nothing to do with the cable company, but the cable company itself usually doesn't have anyone to deal with that, they just tell them to go to best buy. So pick them off before they get there, you will make a good chunk of change for easy jobs. (Ex setting up a wireless router + installing a wireless card = $150)
