Who is everyone going for? Both are very good fighters. As much trash Mayweather says I think he will back it up.

I like both. I don't care for De La Hoya's massive pretty-boy ego, but he's a good fighter. Arrogance is more tolerable when you can back it up, and he can.

Tough call, and I'm afraid I haven't watched either fight in awhile. I'll call Mayweather and see what happens.

ohhh man.. you must have never heard "pretty boy" floyd mayweather talk lol. he brings ego to a whole new level.

im actually picking de la hoya.. mainly because i dont think floyd can hurt DLH. floyd is moving up in weight yet again, and will be significantly smaller than DLH come fight night. i expect oscar to move up anywhere from 12-18 pounds overnight.. floyd might not go up even 5. mayweather hasnt shown power vs judah or baldomir. he outboxed both easily, but never really was a threat to KO either. i also dont believe floyd has seen this kind of power yet. if oscar can land his famous left hook on a small mayweather, it could floor him easily. mayweather could outbox DLH for 12 rounds and win on pts, but i dont think he'll be able to. he's never fought a fighter as technical and powerful as oscar and i think DLH can catch him.

It'll be a good fight, I love watch De La Hoya fight. Also Arturo Gatti is fighting Alfonso Gomez over the summer sometime, that'll be a good fight too.

I haven't watched boxing much since the 90's during the last big run of the heavyweights, but this one looks like it'll be good. I'm leaning towards Mayweather, but wouldn't be surprised to see De La Hoya take it.

Did you's see the HBO 24/7 hype specials for the fight? If you haven't and you're a fan of either or even a casual fan of boxing, definitely check them as they're excellent and worth going out of your way to see.
