Anyone here been to Canada lately?

I am planning on driving there the weekend of the 18th, and I was wondering if you had any troubles crossing the border at all.

What did you need? From what I read you need a birth certificate and a valid state issued photo id.

I also read about a "yellow Non-Resident Inter-Province Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Card" that you can get for free from your insurance company.

Did anyone that went get that insurance card? I don't know if I will be able to get it in time.

Anything helps.

How about returning, Did you need a birth certificate? Or just a Drivers license?

What year did you go?
