ah the uselessness of calculus. I tutored Calc 101 and 102 in college and can now only remember that the curve will get really close to 0 but it will never touch.

Calc 1 was ok, Calc 2 was a bitch, and Calc 3 was really really easy.

hmm i don't know i find cal really easy, once you know the basics of cal 1...maybe its just me P

Well the thing that really gets me is that it is not math. Analysis, writing, analysis, and more writing. I'd rather fill up a whole page with numbers over letters any day.

Wow. That's like the complete opposite for me >_> Pwned Stats but had a hard time with Calc III >_> (still got a good grade...just took a heck of a lot more effort) It was probably b/c I never went to lecture though.

It looks like plenty of us are more than ready to help. Lay the questions on us!

Calc just kept getting easier (got a C in Calc I, got an A in Calc IV). Stats was tough.

Hey if you still need help I was in a similair situation and you need a paid tutor go to kasamba.com they have tutors for hire available on the spot. Just make sure though they know their shit.

may I ask why you took calc 4. Was it required for your major?
Most majors require only up to calc 2 or maybe on occassion up to calc 3.
Did you really like calc that much or was it required?
PS... after calc 2(last calc I had to take) I asked my profeesor when I would ever use calculus in my career and he couldn't give me any scenario I would need to use calc. After he told me that I knew I was done with Calc for life.

It was required (Comp Sci/Astronomy). Actually I like Calculus now. Weird.

in my business cal class she gave us scenarios that made sense like if you were to work with engineers on something or designed something its good to know.

My dad had to take a business calculus course and a finite math course as an accounting major, I'll probably have to do the same.

I'm in differential equations now, they're relatively easy, except I hate matrices. Next up, linear algebra.
