Is it revealing that the Brag Bag has 11,029 more posts in it then the help section?

If you post a new topic in the Brag Bag you should expect 9.9 replies on average.

But if you post a new topic in the help section then expect 6 replies on average.

I've seen one person bump 8 threads in the Brag-Brag section.
Im thinking people think its an easy way to add up the post counts ?

yea, a lot of people just want to get there post count up. Most replies just say 'Congrats', "you rock," or "I wish I had that kind of money." roll

No kidding, Mods should change it to a non-counting post also. I saw one person go down the whole front page typing "congrats"....

I concur. I noticed that too. I dont' think it's right to be able to just say congrats and get post counts. I've seen people bump every thread with the word "congrads" That bothered me

in my mind brag bag is a "discussion" forum and post count is (theoretically) a liveryli rough indicator of how much somebody contributes to discussions. as you're not really even allowed to have discussions in the trading post, it was sensible to have them not count.

that and david did the mod so i didn't have to do anything. there's nothing i like better than doing nothing )
