Does anyone know how long it usually takes an admin to get to a pm? I know that they are very busy, but I was just wondering. Has anyone had experience with pm'ing an Admin and can maybe give me a time frame of some sort. Thanks.

I think it varies depending on how much work they have to do or if they have 100000 pms to reply to

I find that they are very helpful and prompt. But that is the sort of question probably best asked of an admin or mod via PM.

ROFL
Sorry folks, but I have no choice but to let some PM's slide by once in awhile. It's not that I don't care, but I just can't always keep up with them while working and doing the other stuff I have to do around the forums. Some days I'd be doing nothing but PM conversations otherwise. And sometimes I'll read a PM, know that I have to think on the response or do some research first, then I forget. Sorry, but the steel trap that my mind once was, is now a bit rusty and corroded.
So if you PM me about a general forum issue (bad trader, trading question, etc.) and don't get a reply within a reasonable time, you probably fell victim to my cull filter or poor memory. Ask again, or PM another mod/admin and tell them that you asked me and I didn't reply.
If you PM me to ask a specific question that you think only I can answer (as opposed to other mods/admins) and I don't reply, ask me again in a few days. Or take the hint. P j/k
OTOH it is [bbc525dfc36]never[/bbc525dfc36] a good idea to spam the same question to many mods/admins at once. Nothing annoys me more than to spend precious minutes of my time researching and preparing a response to your question, only to have 2 other admins beat me to it. If it's a general question and not of a personal nature or directed at a specific admin, it's better to post it in the forum for all mods/admins to respond to and all members to see and possibly learn from.

I've had great experience with the mod's here so fay. They're understanding and usually get back to PM's quickly. The longest I ever waited was 2 days, and that was over a weekend which is expected. )

I ignore as many PM's as I can get away with.

i've got about a hundred unread PMs in my box
it's not so much that i don't care, but that people rarely read FAQs or rules and i don't have the time to be everyone's hand-holder. besides,

11) Don't PM me (Admin). I will ignore it if you do. Try someone else in the moderator usergroup. [/quote5c8268819e]

I knock back a few and buckle the seat belt. They go by quicker that way.
