I'm an undergraduate who got through with an internship with Blackrock(
www.blackrock.com[]www.blackrock.com) and will be working in their Asset Management Dept.
Anyone one here doing any internship or reseacrh over the summer that they would like to share?
And any advice for those will be be doing something this summer?

I am an intern. But I do everything and more than the normal job does. So I am expecting a full time job offer soon.

i have one lined up for next summer. my first glimpse at i-bank hell. yay. this summer i am just working two part-time jobs so i can enjoy my last semi-normal summer before "life" starts.

On my 3rd internship now summer after my freshmen year I worked in operations for Time Warner; last summer/this fall I interned for a large Residential Real Estate Firm, and now I'm in the middle of an internship for a boutique high-net worth wealth management firm.
If you can try to get internships in different fields like I did; college is the best time to find out what you like/don't like.

Yeah, getting internships is the best.
I hope my summer will be good. Did some Material Science research last summer at Princeton University. The topic I researched was boring - but the campus life and activities they had was great!!
I wish I was attending Princeton.

They didn't have a lot of parties in the summer since everyone left - but the one they had at an eating house was ok.
A lot of girls and tonnnnssssss of liquor from the keg!
But when they weren't any parties, the other students and I just played some soccer (during the World Cup '06) and watched a couples movies and went out to eat.
The town was small though - I swear that I never saw anyone having an argument for the 3 months I was there.

We run an online music video contest. I'm interning in the marketing department. The people I work with are awesome. I'm hoping to get a job there for the summer.
