She's just being a good person and wishing everyone [who celebrates] Easter, a Happy Easter. Just because I don't, or you don't, doesn't mean she can't wish anyone else. It wasn't geared towards YOU or just ME, it's geared towards everyone who celebrates Easter. Chill out Tyler.

Why is everything closed on Christmas, but open on Easter? If it wasn't for Easter, Christmas would be irrelevant.

Both are religious holidays, but I think Christmas is kind of an all-around holiday that even the non-Christian celebrate to an extent. Hence the term, "holiday season".

I believe Christmas has become cultural, entering households that don't normally celebrate religious holidays and even the non-religious. Easter has pretty much stayed a religious holiday, not having rubbed off much culturally/socially speaking.

Also, Easter is always on a Sunday...which means that most things are limited/closed anyways. Christmas can fall on any day of the week.

Actually a lot of people that are not religious celebrate Easter. They just celebrate the Easter bunny and colored eggs part of it. One of my coworkers is Muslim and doesn't do anything for Christmas, but he always does something with his daughter on Easter.

I love how every topic somehow manages to get into a religious debate. Why not just wish everyone a Happy Easter, and let others believe what they want to believe.

Happy Easter (to those who celebrate it).
