Trading on FiPG is far more profitable for the average person than forex trading. Forex is subject to far too much risk.

Yeah right!! Not when a site requires 8 referrals and people want $40+, to become a referral. Jeez, forex seems more profitable to me. And If the banks are using it, then i guess it might be working for them. watda think?

It takes quite a bit of capital to get much in the way of a return...plus, there's a trade fee for every transaction

very risky IMO...just think if you'd have had $$ in Yen a month or so back (was it Yen that tanked so bad?)

Currencies dont fluctuate THAT MUCH. I'd suggest traditional stock trading over Forex anyday. If you actually want to do it, Take my Ameritrade Referal link [I get 10 Free trades if you do it]. PM Me for it. I'll Give you the stocks I currently own, so you can do your own research and see if its worth your money.

That is not true. They can fluctuate A LOT. Believe me, I've done forex myself in the past. Had my good and bad luck at times. Didn't want to put my money at risk anymore, so I left it with a pretty nice gain )

If Forex were really so profitable, you would not have received a piece of junk mail promising you it was the secret to untold riches.

Funny,.. but NO! I didn't get a piece of junk mail. Have couple of friends that do forex trades daily, for couple of hours each day, and they make couple thousand/month, like 3-4grand. So i know its not that risky. Nice part about it is that, its open 24hrs a day, where as Stock market is open from like 9am-1pm. So yeah.

There is always a risk in investing in stocks , currency and commodities. It is best not to invest money you can't afford to lose. There is no way to gurantee you will come out ahead instead of losing money.

I have been playing around with FOREX in a practice account for a few weeks, and have almost doubled my principal. I find it lots of fun, and there ARE ways to make money, but just as many ways to lose it. Whenever I get my next phone bill I plan to put $50 in and see what I can do with it.

Why haven't they shared their secrets with you? Seems selfish of them.

Also--and this is the last I will say to you about this--day trading is the last thing an uninformed investor should consider getting into. I would suggest you borrow a copy of Burton Malkiel's [i3547306697]A Random Walk Down Wall Street[/i3547306697][=http//www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0393325350/qid=1091035472/sr=ka-1/ref=pd_ka_1/102-0051252-6294569/-motleyfool-features/][i3547306697]A Random Walk Down Wall Street[/i3547306697]. You will get a sense of his main idea just from reading the summaries and reviews in that link, but Malkiel's arguments and analysis are more persuasive if you read them firsthand.
