For the air attacks, make sure to take it into account when forming your overall maze. You should have some good guns going down the middle and going across in the middle.

I had 7,000 once but I didn't submit it because it was before the group was formed. Trying to beat it now.

I did something similar and they couldn't even get near the other side. The trick is to use all pallets and max. as many as u can.

And I would concentrate more of the upgrades to the top and left as opposed to the bottom right. You want to hit them early.

I would add a couple of swarm towers if you find that the maze is letting a few go past the middle.

The freeze guns are critical for slowing down the flying guys and giving your ground guys a chance to do some damage.

usually I use 2 freeze guns, and around 10 squirt guns all around the center together. max. both freeze guns and around 5-7 squirt guns. I beat the game with around 17 lives left over but my score is always around 5000.

Yeah, before they modified it in 1.2c you could've easily gotten by without freeze guns but they are now essential for the last bosses. I just use pellets, maxed out squirt guns and freeze guns.

I reached 7k and the overall top 100, bitches.
