I need help in deciding which car is better. In your opinion which car is better the BMW 328i or Mercedes Benz C280 Sedan. My friend is looking for a nice car and she cant decide between those two cars, so Im asking you guys. Please include the reason why one is better than the other, also comment on the design of the cars. What is the best package for under $35,000.

And also around when will the 2008 version of the two cars come out?

I would go with the BMW just because in my opinion, the 3 series has very nice handling. I drove one briefly just for about 30 minutes and I was amazed over the acceleration as well as the handling. That might be a slightly biased opinion but BMW's are just what I prefer. P

infiniti 35 sedan/coupe

better than both of them. faster and alot better features. also lexus has alot of nice cars. check out acura tl also.

I do like the G35 and the pictures of it on their website are breathtaking. lol I don't really like Lexus' much but the cheaper sedan is nice. I like the body style of it. Never driven one before though.

It seems like every one like the BMW better, i was leaning toward the Benz, just because it is a bigger name. The G35 looks nice though it might be a little too big for her. She wants something small.

If you saw those two cars next to each other, which would you say looks better? I think she is really only interested in the look of the car, exterior as well as interior.

Unless your friend is 50+ years old, she should go for the BMW.

BMWs are better all around cars and are flashy enough for young people.

With a BMW, you get a performance car. With a Benz, you get a luxury car. I just went through this dilemma myself recently so I thought I would chip in. Test drove both higher platform versions of each brand and ended up with a Benz. In the end got a CLS63 AMG, 0-60 in 4.1 seconds and 507 horsepower. (Some brochures will say 4.3 - 4.5 seconds but I've personally done a 4.1) All this with the most luxurious packages you can ever have for a vehicle. My neighbor has a 06 M6 and drools over the design of my car every morning.

BTW the 2008 C-class is gorgeous too and should deffinitely wait for that new body style to come in. Or the new BMW 3 series hard top convertible is cheap too so that may be an option as well. In the meantime

prizebook is obviously a roller, my friend is looking for something around $35,000. Only the c-class and the 3 series will do. I think she will go for the beamer and based on what you guys have said i think it is the right.

Yeah, Prizebook is doing really well for us lol. After taxes and some extra packages, it was closer to 120k. Perhaps I'll get some pictures going.

u are likely better off picking up a 2007 late in the year than wait 3 months and get a 2008, as long as both are new. there will be better deals late in the year

well why go entry luxury when the infiniti g35 has better features and more power for the money.

335 has the same amount of power as the g35 and look at the price difference because of the bmw name. i do love beamers though. but why get an entry vehicle in either bmw or benz.

Waiting was actually option but i wasnt sure when the 08 will be released.

The car is also for a girl so i doubt the twin turbo is important.

All I can say is my family has had many BMW's and has never had a problem with them. Its the olny car my dad will buy anymore. Right now he has a 740i and loves it to death. My mom has a porsche Cayenne. When she kills it shes getting a X5. My brother has a 1984 325e thats still running smooth. I would go BMW hands down...

If she goes with the C280, she's going to find out the hard way that it's nothing more than a Volkswagen with a Mercedes logo slapped on the back.

Also, I drive an '03 Lincoln LS, and actually ended up choosing it over an '03 Infiniti G35 (the added value vs the added cost just doesn't add up for the G35). Also, you may not be aware...most people know Toyota makes Lexus...but Nissan actually makes Infiniti (screwface).

and nismo parts for the g35. its no big suprise.

thought ill admit the nissan quality has hit the shits but its gotten better as of late and the altima sales have skyrocketed btw

When you put the top up you would never be able to tell it's a convertible, it's crazy.
