Women's Final Four

I can't believe the Ole Miss women are in the final four! Go Rebs! Although do have to play Tenn.

I cant believe that womens basketball still exists, im just waiting for the WNBA to fall off the map. Im suprised its still around.

Yah i've been wondering why sportscenter acutally puts up highlights from their games...people just turn the channel acting like its a commercial

Ummm, I [b9084a7de04]think[/b9084a7de04] they're in the 8 (now six, since there were two games last night), not four. They have to beat TN to get into the final four. Rutgers and LSU are in the final four, however, since their games were last night.

According to what I'm seeing. They play TN tonight. Purdue is playing NC tonight as well.

And yes, people still watch women's basketball. In fact, the majority of rioting on campus in the last decade here has had to do with women's basketball. ;)

Well, that's because Purdue's men's basketball and football programs are nothing to riot about, unless you are rioting about how bad they are wink

for some reason Im watching the Tenn/ OLe Miss game. LOL @ Old Miss making the final four.

Sorry I jumped the gun on the final 4. Elite 8 I should've said. Matters not now that Ole Miss got "blownout" tonight by Tenn. I'm really not into girls basketball, but A. Price who plays for Ole Miss (she scored 30 of their 62 pts tonight) lives about 10 miles from me. I'm just proud for her and her getting that opportunity.

I heard once that they were going to delay the Women's Final Four by one week so that it wouldn't compete with the Men's tournament and perhaps more people would watch it. Apparently, they nixed this idea as it would get in the way of training for the Kentucky Derby.

Even though 8 out of the last 9 seasons we've been to a bowl game? Yeah, Purdue Football really sucks. P

You do a lot a talking for not a lot of production on the IU side lol

Although I have to say last night's game was awful for the Purdue women. They couldn't stop turning the ball over on terrible passes. Not to mention they were being owned in the paint, but still a great effort.

Yeah, Purdue has won maybe 2 or 3 of those 8 bowl games.

This year will be the year for IU football and basketball.

Uh huh...since IU's last bowl game appearance was in 1993, that makes them SO MUCH better than Purdue. roll

It's coming to B-Town this year when Purdue comes here to play...and won't be going back to West LaLa.

In the mean time, I guess I'll just think about IU's 5 national basketball championships and 8 Final Four appearances.

I guess living in the past is OK with you...
