Does anyone know typically how long these sites take to approve your referrals? And the whole time frame from approval to shipment of your item?
Im talking about Tech4free, oddtech4free, etc. sites

i'm awaiting approval from mid december still. I wont say the S word but I think it is. Not before, but these days they're having problems.

I now have 69 yellows for pctech, but no greens. (
I'm pretty sure some should've gone green already, but haven't, and there's no way for me to contact everyone and ask that they file a manual credit request on the site.
If it were Gratis, it wouldn't be neccessary.
It also took me forever to get the one yellow on oddtech, which is pretty weird considering how I promoted it.
I wish Gratis would do a laptop and MyFi already.....

Personally I am at the "Order Processing" stage on Tech4Free.com. Unfortunately this is my first J&T Cooper completion so I'm new to the process.

Many people laud their sites, and I guess if you know all your referrals well enough to remind them to make sure they get credit, you will too.
That's fine for an item requiring less referrals like an iPod, but for something that needs 18 referrals, it becomes impossible.
If I put my mind to oddtech first, I have a decent chance of completing it, as the required referrals are less, but my dreams of getting the pctech laptop are beginning to fade. (

i got my alpine head unit + ipod interface one week after ordering. That includes waiting for account approval. My referals got credit usualy within 3 -5 days, most did efax.

I had issues with getting credit, but I finally got the greens required for an iPod. I ordered last Sunday, and have been processing since. The reason I did tech4free was b/c I learned that Gratis would take forever, and tech4free supposedly had this ultrafast turn around. I still haven't received all the greens that I should have, but I guess I'll just let it go...assuming they ship my item sometime soon.
