I managed to get a nice scratch over the screen of my ipod so I was thinking about getting Brasso to clean it up with. Anyone ever tried this and what were your results? What kind of fabric do you use to apply it with, and what do you use to clean it off after you've used the Brasso on it? I ordered a Best Skin Ever a few days ago so I want to do this before I put that on it.

tooth paste does nothing good. I would like to know how the brasso turns out for you though

I've used Applesauce on my iPod, and it works pretty well. It's not meant for the backside though.

I've used brasso before. It works great for buffering off medium and deep scratches but keep in mind that it will leave those tiny scratches that you only see in the light all over your ipod. I kind of regret using now, as those tiny scratches bother me when I'm watching a movie.

I'm pretty sure it will leave scratches no matter what type of cloth you use. Brasso is very abrasive.

This seems like a really bad idea.

I just wipe it really good with windex and soft sponge. after that buy a crystal case to put it in, keeps it shiny clean.

Does Brasso contain the same stuff as Armorall? I remember those CD scratch filling kit bottles contained the same as that.

Maybe Armorall would be better than Brasso?

I used brasso a long time ago. It worked, took away some scratches, but left some small ones, it doesnt hurt to try

Well other than that one scratch i've been taking really good care of it, and now that I know it will leave smaller scratches, i'm just not going to screw with it. I think I might just do what Lamif does and wipe it down with windex and cotton balls, then put on my Best Skin Ever.

shouldn't the best skin ever kind of fill in/mask some scratches?
