Hey guys, I saw this on eBay and was wondering if anyone had heard anything about this or seen this before. They claim they can give you two Walt Disney tickets for $10 if you follow the rules.

Heres the eBay auction

I know when I went to Orlando a couple years ago, I signed up for something similar. I had to go listen to a speech about Timeshare and how it's going to revolutionize vacationing.... I listened and then politely refused the $10,000 dollar real estate investment (1 week a year at their resort). As I walked out they gave us our tickets....

Not a bad gig if you can say no a hundred times and don't mind sitting for a couple hours.

God timeshare people are assholes. My parents have one in Avon, CO, and they call our home at least 5 times a day. I can't wait to get rid of it.

Have you ever seen the South Park episode on that? It was hilarious. Don't let that scare you away though, usually it is not that bad. But the part where it says to bring a credit card or check book, I think they are going to suddenly make you pay some bullshit fee like tax on the tickets or a service fee. That is usually the catch. But you will still save a bundle.

Yeah, the one where they go to the ski resort, but never get the chance to ski because everyone works for the timeshare industry. My fav. part is when they come back up in the ski lift and the seller was acting sad "Okay, fine. We just wanted to tell you about our offer..."

My parents went to one when we were in DisneyWorld. They had to say no around 1 thousand times. And then they drove them around to show them the timeshare, and apparently my step dad had to raise his voice and pound the desks in order to be let go and recieve his tickets.

i am surprised that time shares aren't extinct. I have always thought them to be a rip off for the majority of people.

Some friends of ours that went with us did get suckered. They've used it and enjoyed, just recently sold it for 15,000. So they made their money on it. It's good if you do a lot of vacationing.
