Interface the trade module with it. This way it can flag if a user attempts to do a site more than once.

Well, that seems to be a little hard without seeing the code to the trade module. A few drop down menus and a SQL insert and query function is all that is needed. Suggestions are meant to be exactly what they are... suggestions.

These are some pretty good ideas. I do think that the trade module is a bit outdated. Maybe instead of having the "Receiver Notes / Contact" you could have specific places to put your ref link, paypal address, etc. so its better organized.

everything I had suggested isn't that "hard" of a mod... just added to the DB and simple "add a new site" in the admin cp, few drop down menu's, gather info from the DB's would be the hardest part to code...

All ideas are welcome and appreciated. We have a running list of proposed changes that are being considered, prioritized, and worked on behind the scenes. Anything you guys & gals suggest that makes sense and is feasible to do will be added to the list.

One of the things on that list is a major overhaul (i.e. rewrite) of the Trade Module itself. We probably won't be making a lot of band-aid mods to the current one for that reason. But there are several other high-priority things to take care of too, and since we're all working on a volunteer as-time-allows basis, we can't commit to a timeframe unfortunately.

How about trades requesting deletion in the trade module for a certain time. Maybe a month or two can be deleted by one person requesting deletion. I've had trades requesting deletion in the trade module for 2 years now. I dont' think they are comming back. lol

I know I can just hide it, but why not delete it altogether?

I think all the mods should be paid a little bit of cash for their help around here, except wolfeman

right but if someone else can code, they should be able to figure out what type of language is being used and how to code it, as mentioned after ur post. i was not slighting the idea, i was suggesting someone could help those who volunteer their time and code for this free site

Trust me, you don't want to see the code to the Trade Module. ;)

Doing much of anything with the TM is a major effort due to how it's written, that's why it's on my list to be redesigned. As I mentioned, we're not going to spend a lot of time patching it up as it is.
