This is a new table I just built for a poker house here in Rochester.
Features a locking tip container, locking rake container, and locking money storage with money paddle. I'm always looking for ideas so if you can think of any cool ideas for a futuristic home poker table let me know.

Very impressive. Is this a hobby of yours? How much profit do you get out of this?

ah it depends if my wholesaler is having a sale on stuff, depends what options the customer picks, I make an average of about 700 but it can be anywhere from 100-1000. It depends. Yeah It's a hobby I do about 5 tables a month give or take.

I'm sure you have quoted a price somewhere else, but how much do you sell the tables for on average? Like if I asked for one with default options, or one like you have shown in this post, how much would it cost?

EDIT x323smostwantedx and I think alike, it seems ...

This one in the picture sells for $1500. If it was a Fipg'er I could do it for much less.

Not bad. I bet shipping would be a Blilich. Can you make me one with hidden cams so I can look at their cards and have some glasses attached to all the cams? ;)

I suppose the logical follow-up question is ... how much would the discount be? And as x323smostwantedx, shipping would probably be terrible ... I'm sure pickup would be preferred.

lol It doesn't matter how much he charges you for it because with that kind of table you would make your money back... eventually. ;)

yeah that's one thing I remind the people, specially if it's a cash table. You're gonna make the money back. Specially if you're charging a 10% rake which is realy high but seems to be the magic number in Rochester.

Shipping would be around the $150 range, or I can meet someone half way if they live out of NY.

The prices start at $500. Like that table without the wood legs but with metal foldable ones would be around the $1000 Range. Also, he had the locking chip boxes, raised rail, dealer spot, dealer tray, and pedestal legs. If you wanted a nice tourney table, with metal legs the price would be around $500-$600.

Here are some $500-$650 samples.

Second one down is so nice. I want one even though I don't have anywhere to put them nor play poker frequently enough. lol Why don't you start your own site/business, Hairy?

hairyferry

12-03-2007 21:30:36

That one you're talking about is actually really easy to store, if you have a big enough bed you can slid it right under the bed, or a lot of guys hang in from the ceiling in their garage.

I actually just bought a domain. Since I have no idea really how to do a site, my brother is working on something.

yeah they call that a racetrack table. Some people like it some people hate it. They like it because it clearly shows if you're in or not. They hate it because there are drinks on the table and you can't shuffle chips as easy on the oak track.
