Some offers that are marked "instant" do not even credit in 2 days. I think you should give them more time? jeez.

Are you trying to contact these people first? You do know that if they do go green withing 14 days you will have to pay them, right?

You can't just say after two days ok thats it and give the spot away without talking to them first. I suggest you read the trade module rules.

I know its frustrating but you have to deal with it. Just PM the person after like 3 days and ask if they are still interrested. If they sign up and go yellow you can't just delete the trade and give it away.

happens noobs dont understand that they agree to a trade. at least you got yellows I get them to agree and they dont ever sign up for the site.

I make it clear and in big bold letters,
"MUST COMPLETE 1 CREDIT IN 24 HOURS OR YOUR SPOT WILL BE GIVEN AWAY. If there is a problem, PM or email me and I will work with you."

That sounds reasonable right? I mean if they dont want to do it they dont have to. I even let them check out the offers first. way before I give them the chance to sign up. And right befor they do, I give them the statement above.

No that's not reasonable...Most offers don't credit within 24 hours, how do you ever expect people to go green within that time if the offer doesn't even credit that fast?

I agree. If I need a quick green I still give at least 48 hours.

He might mean "MUST DO A 1 CREDIT OFFER WITHIN 24 HOURS" but I'm not positive on that. shrug

after they sign up and go for their 1 credit. But if i dont hear anything from them. I know its a pain. I have some trades going right now that are still yellow. But I keep in contact with the other side to let them know. I dont just keep them in the dark.

Wait explain that a little more. I'm confused as to what you are saying.

I usually state in my trades that they have to sign up underneath me in 48 hours. If they confirm it and show up as a referral within that stated time, they have between 2-3 weeks to become green. I sometimes give a little flexibility if the person stays in contact over that period because I understand that manual credits sometimes take a while.

Make sure you state your own trading rules when setting up a trade. It tells traders that you're serious and people won't make you wait too long.

what would you do if you didnt hear from your refferals for a while and no green has been done? even after they agree to get back to you within 24 hrs.

I know, this whole thing just got confusing, this is not where i parked my car!

I would just assume that they didn't want to continue with the trade, so i would just cancel it.

Yah, I figured so.

I state in the trade module that if i don't hear anything at all from someone within 3 days of confirming the trade, i have the right to cancel it...and i make sure they understand that before accepting it. However, if they go yellow, but are having trouble with recieving credit i wait it out and work with them. Its not their fault (most of the time) that they didn't recieve credit...so its not fair to them to just replace them with another referral. The only thing i ask for is to keep me updated at least once every few days.

I didn't read this thread but be patient. Most of us have lives and can't do offers instantly. Sometimes it takes time to get credit too. Newbs sometimes don't do things correct but contacting them first is a good idea...

I offer a higher amount if the green is instant. So far this has worked pretty well. I make it clear to my traders before they agree to trade that if they go green within 24 hours I am offering a certain amount and that amount only stands if the green is completed in time. I detail this in the trade module too.

This encourages your traders to finish quickly, and for the most part it works. If they don't do it I give them as much time as they need, but that hasn't happened too often since I have used this bargaining method.
