seriously referral = the person who signs-up under you. Referrer = the person you signed-up under.
And in case you wonder, you can find people who don't have a referrer, but they're much more rare than people who don't have any referral (especially green).
Sorry if confused you again with that last one.

but what l0th said... referrals are the people who sign up under you, but they don't technically COUNT unless they complete an offer (completing an offer by referrals is VITAL to getting your iPod... you need 5 refferals to complete one(1) offer in order to receive it.) If you just refer a bunch of people using the referral link provided you by the company you signed up with (i.e. Gratis Networks, OfferCentric..) and they don't complete an offer, then they won't count. Take me for instance, i have 92 people that have signed up, but haven't completed an offer, they don't count, but are still important because some of those people (but rarely) may turn Green (which means they have completed an offer).
So anyhow hope that clears things up, and Good Luck!
