Let's face it. With all the offers we are signing up for left and right it's bound to happen. Well, myself I've got a my hefty share (I'm talking about in the hundreds) but it's not so bad with gmail because all you have to do is click "delete spam messages now" and they all disappear. And of course, I have another alternate, "more cleaner" inbox for school related and other things...

How about you?

I use different e-mail accounts for different freebie sites, but all are redirected back to 2 Gmail accounts.

Wow guys that is insane to be getting in the thousands! One thing I have heard on the news is that by clicking "unsubscribe" you actually confirm your email address shock Why do you think much of those emails say "click here if you cannot view images."

And i hated it when Gmail didn't have a "DELETE ALL SPAM" button and you'd have to go page by page w/ 50 emails per page...That was a pain in the arse.

yep definitely remember that. I had so much in my spam box, and it just took forever to delete it. So i just ignore it and let it fill up.

Yeah there is a reason that spam exists. It works. Think if you send out 1,000,000 emails. Lets say you get 0.1% to follow up. thats seems like a total failure but the cost of sending out those 1,000,000 is waaaaay less than the profit you made off those 1000 people. Even 0.01% and you still have 100 people at near no cost. Spam works my friend...
