Ok...For one of my classes, I have to come up with a new food idea. This new product has to be cheap, tasty, and healthy. It needs to have a catchy name to it too. I am offering Karma to anybody who helps me on this..because i need to type up a paper for it asap, seeing that it's due tomorrow. So please help!

A snack, that is healthy, and tasty? Is there a target audience?'

For kids A tasty, healthy cereal that has 75% less marshmallows. Called Pirate's Booty. The marshmallows can be little gold coins. Thus, they are the treasure because there are less of them.

Does it have to be realistic (i.e., a delicious, chocolatey snack that has 5 calories and is twice the size of a Snickers bar)?

I would think of something that would appeal to women, because (even though I don't think a woman's place is in the home) it is true that the person who typically shops for the family is the woman. So think about what women would DIE to have..

Tasty (chocolate?)
Healthy (new chocolate formula that reduces the calories but not the taste?)
Cheap (make it like a candy bar?)

If it has to be realistic...I dunno how to help you there. D

Just watch the Food Network, I'm sure you can find something.

I saw something on their yesterday. It was like an Oreo, but cucumber outside and some other healthy crap in the middle.

Vodka-filled, chocolate-covered pork rinds.

But they are fat-free, sugar-free, and help reduce the risk of heart failure.

They can be called Awesome-os.

They are bite-sized, idiot. o

No, but seriously, if you eat the whole thing you get paralyzed from the waist down. Don't eat more than a bite or two.

how about making something with chicken, broccoli, and some walnuts (the perfect balance of food) all mixed into one giant bar... yeah didn't think so. there aren't very many healthy snacks out there due to the need for preservatives to maintain shelf life. i'm interested in how this will turn out.

I'd find that offensive, if it wasn't for the fact that I LOVE to cook and bake. D I have to shoo Brandon out of the kitchen because he gets in the way a lot of the time. The only time he cooks is if he finds a recipe that I really am not that happy to try. So far, he's made maybe 2 dishes out of several that I haven't wanted to gag on (not his fault though...the recipes just weren't good).

And my office group has designated me the cake person for birthdays and such. I just made a cake for my coworker's birthday yesterday.

And my ass can't get fat...it's genetically impossible. ;P

"I have to shoo Brandon out of the kitchen because he gets in the way a lot of the time."

That is why I stopped helping my girlfriend with the cooking, for some reason I can not do ANYTHING right, and I am ALWAYS in her way. So I just go watch ESPN and yell at her.
