Im so tired of him trying to act like he's the shit and everyone else are idots. He doesnt do anything himself, but yet he critizes other people. This is my dads life.

9am ---Go's to work
6pm--- Comes from work
6pm to 10pm--- Sits on the computer looking at pointless and dumbass sites, watches TV, picks his nose, scratches his balls.

Next day, repeat above.

Oh, and we rent movies at blockbuster, so when he comes from work, he raises down stairs to get the movie and start ripping it on the computer. Thats his excitement.

Im so freak en embarrassed for him, cuz he's just a lazy douche bag. He doesnt work out, he doesnt play any sports, he doesnt do anything outside of work. And his job is not even fukin hard. He's a dam paralegal assistant, who gets $18/hr. While he does exactly what his boss does(his boss owns the paralegal office), his boss drives around in bmws and mercedes, lives in an expensive city(bellevue, Wa), and practically takes a vacation to europe or some other exotic destination every single 3 months.

And my dad is so stupid, that he's too lazy to find a different job cuz he doesnt make jake squat at the paralegal office. Plus he doesnt even have a college degree. The only thing he has is a A&P mechanics certificate for aircraft mechanic from community college.

I get pretty annoyed with my dad and but that never will go both ways. I'm sure ill never be able to make up for the annoyance I was/am. He had to raise me from a child and has paid for the bills for a long ass time, we never had a lot of money so it was always gone to me first so I could take advantage of club sports etc that cost more money. As a matter of fact I still live at home and am in college so I'm sure that still is an annoyance. If you don't like it move out simple as that, I probably would move out but I need to save money for school

Yeah, i did have a job. I worked for 40hr/week, quite often 50/hr/week. And im only 17. Why should i be helping my parents when in fact, they are my parents. They're supposed to care for me. No, my parents are not divorced. Im just little fed up with them. They dont wonna do anything for themselves.

We purchased our house for $250,000 6years ago, and that was with a $240,000 bank loan. So its not like im some rich kid complaining about the bad life. My mom got her bachelors degree, but doesn't even use it. Yet, she wen to school for almost 6 or 7 years to earn her degree, cuz first it was 2 different community colleges, and Devry university. And she paid it with all student loans.

Plus we have like $70,000 in debit, probably even more cuz they're not showing me all their bills. We have no money, living barely, barely paycheck to paycheck. Yet, they dont wonna do anything cuz there too dam scared of the job market.

Yeah, my mom got a 4-year in Business management, yet she decided to work as a Russian interpretor making less than $16,000 per year.

Had it not been for my parents, I wouldn't have been raised with a foundation or a path to follow. I realize more and more everyday when my parents gave me the old "When you grow up, you'll understand" or "When you have kids, you'll understand" (which my fiance is pregnant, so I will soon find out the essence of that statement )), those statements alone are very true. I can't tell you how many times I tell my parents "You know what? You WERE right!"

Anyway, the point here is that if your parents work all day and want to come home and slack off, if they are providing you with food to eat, a roof over your head, and genuinely care about you, then they may do whatever they please. If that is how they want to wind down, that's their own business.

As a father of three who's youngest is about your age... I'm just speechless. Your parents must be so proud of you. I don't know your parents, but you apparently have absolutely no clue what it's like to work to put a roof over your head and food on your table, not only for yourself but for others. Did you ever think that maybe they enjoy their jobs? Trust me, having a job you enjoy is MUCH better than having a job you hate but make more money at. The fact that you're so caught up on their salary and bills, when you obviously aren't responsible to pay for them, makes you sound like a spoiled brat who isn't getting everything he wants, and wants to blame the parents' financial situation. While still living at home with a $250K roof over your head. I realize teens are rebellious and think their parents are dorks, but jeez, that kind of disrespect is uncalled for. One day you'll look back and realize how incredibly stupid you were for saying such things. At least I hope so. At least I'm thankful my kids appreciate what I've done for them, and to be honest your parents' situation doesn't sound that far off from mine (aside from their jobs).

Again I reiterate what I said earlier Your dad works his ass off so he can put a roof over your head, a meal on your plate and clothes on your person... He has every right to relax and enjoy his own recreation at home (even if that's sitting on the computer all day).

Now if he didn't adequately provide you with these necessities and he was sitting on his ass all day, then people might shed some sympathy for you... But since that's not the case and you said he works 45 hours a week, you have no right to bitch about what he does on his time off.
