AllofMP3.com is a Russian site where you pay by the gig that has good music.

You can't dl songs with Real Rhapsody... but you can pay a fee to burn them to CD. It's too bad you can't have it put on your mp3 player.

BTW AllofMP3.com is ILLEGAL too. How do they get that price??? They link to russia where they illegally download music, then sell it. The good thing is YOUR safe, The RIAA wont e looking for you, because you PAID, they will go after the Commies.

You COULD conceivably burn the CD and then rerip it onto your computer to get it in a useable MP3 format. I had to do that when I got 10 free downloads with Sony's retarded online music store, Connect.

The audio quality would not be very good. Compressed audio recompressed loses so much sound quality. You'd have to choose a lossless codec to recompress it with and my mp3 player doesn't support any of them.

limewire pro pwns.

i've been using Kazaa Lite resurrection, but almost nobody uses it nowadays.

on the legtal side
i'd go with iTunes music store, especially if you have an iPod. and add onto the fact that I highly admire Apple.

Yeah, actually that whole 'auto-fill a shuffle with tunes from iTunes' sounds really appealing to me. One of the things I don't like about my flash based player is I always have to come up with fresh tunes to play on it. If I could get it autofilled with music I like, then it'd be just like an hour of the best radio station I ever heard without commercials.

I wonder if that autofill thing would work with non-iPod shuffle players.

It is LEGAL to download music. It is ILLEGAL to share it.

if you notice, the RIAA is never suing anyone DOWNLOADING, only those who are sharing it...

maybe I shouldn't have told you guys this information, haha -D don't misuse this information ;-)

yea i can even legally prove it..
