I can't take it anymore, 5 game losing streak is enough for me. The NBA officiating is lame....GOOD JOB STERN I love the NBA, Cavs score 23 points in 4th quarter, 17 from the FT line, which meant they only had 3 FG!!I thought Lakers played well tonight, better than any game in their past 5 games, but still couldn't finish with a W. Any thoughts on tonights Lakers vs Cavs game?

Hahaha Clips, I believe they [ib9b4fe36c2]were[/ib9b4fe36c2] 7th seed? They dropped to not even being in the playoffs! Embarrassing to be under a .500 team when they were in the 6th seed that made it to the 2nd round last season. Thank you T-wolves for kicking out clips! D

Though I guess I can not say anything, LSU is not even going to make the tournament - we needed Tyrus Thomas.....

No need for that. Call Kobe arogant and coky or just plain old selfish. No need to bring up the rape charge which I'm sure you yourself never brought into. BTW I dont like Kobe too much either but I do respect his game.

[quoteb00067592a="tylerc"]NCAA men's basketball > NBA[/quoteb00067592a]

I hate this misconception. Let me guess college is better because it loks like they're trying harder. I hear that all the time. Fact is NBA players are so much better that it looks like they aren't putting in that much effort. Most of the college hustle plays are for loose balls that are recovered from a turnover by a guard who can't handle the ball. NBA players are much less likely to turn that ballover in that situation. Granted this has been one of the better NCAA seasons in quite a while, but still the talent pool isnt even close to the NBA.

And who wants to watch someone beat up on college kids. Sure MJ had a great college career but it doesn't even compare to his NBA reign. Most everyone would rather watch a finished product(Jordan NBA) dominate men his own age rather then go see him beat up on college kids.

So wait, I can't call Mike Tyson a drug addict and a rapist because he is a good boxer?

Or call Jose Conseco a raging 'roid machine because he was good at baseball?

what evidence do you have that suggests Kobe raped that girl. Not to rehash the story but it was pretty evident that the girl had no case once the defense found out she had a debbie does dallas type of gangbang the days before and after the supposed rape. They found like 25 unique pubic specimens in her and you think Kobe raped her.

So if I go to a club, hit a line of coke, and the cops come in and find 30 different DNAs on the end of a straw, I didn't do it?

Well, if they don't have evidence that will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that you did, then you aren't guilty of it.

If all you have is her accusation that it was rape... that's shaky enough. But the fact that she nailed 25 other guys around the same time doesn't make a good case for her being protective of her crotch.

16-02-2007 06:35:36

I agree, it was so easy for her to just cry rape there in order to maybe extort kobe or sue him.

and I totally agree about the NBA vs NCAA with good2speed. Also the final four, while exciting is a crapshoot. The NBA playoffs, to me are the best playoff system in pro sports.

7 games, it determines the better team

If I let the mods have their way with me every night, and then some guy grabs me in an alleyway and forces it upon me, that doesnt mean anything.

I have seen girls let guys run a train on them at parties and them be willing participates, they can still be raped against their will....

Yes, they can still be raped against their will, but if you can prove that a girl has been willing to spread her legs for 25 nobodies.... it's awfully hard to convince someone that she didn't spread them just as easily for a sports celebrity.

Without proof that she said no, I don't see how it can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was rape. Yeah, it sucks if she did get raped, but there are ramifications to how you live your life.

Well yeah, there is no way to tell if she was or she wasn't, only they know that.

What makes me believe it did happen is Kobe bought her a 4 million dollar ring and had a ceremony to re-do their vows......I wouldn't go through all that if I did not do anything wrong...

justinag06

shrug Maybe he's been unfaithful to his wife for a while now, and the case made him really think about it.

I'm not sure if he raped that girl or not, but I certainly don't think it can be proven that he did.

Yeah, like I said only them 2 know what really happened, and I am not on either side because I do not know for sure.

Just 2 things are not right
Who would turn down sex from Kobe, especially if you let 25 random guys have at it?

And again, Why would he spend this insane amount of money if he never did it?

read above

we already answered both of your questions multiple times.

How does him buying his wife a ring, and renewing his vows with her implicate guilt of him raping anyone? All we know is they had sex, and that is enough for anyone to apologize to their wife in the manner he did.

Also it isn't who would turn down sex with kobe and not get raped that you should be asking.

It is who will believe the professional slutbag that was proved to be lying about her sex life, against the word of a respectable member of the community

Well, he's making close to $20 million a year, so dropping $4 million on a ring for his wife isn't so extreme for him. To me, all that proves is that he cheated on his wife and felt guilty about it.

Well i cant help it that my Cavs are sweet.

When they were talking about the dynamic duos in the All Star game last night on TNT I laughed when I saw Lamar Odom with Kobe.

Odom is probably the MOST OVERATED player in the NBA.

Oh and I have to agree with you gimme_m0e that NBA officiating is terrible, they need to let those ballers play a little. There were numerous calls last night that shouldnt have been called against the Lakers, well both teams.

of course he is, IMO. Look at all the others that play his position in the NBA, there is no way that he is in the top. The only reason that he his thought of soo much is because of the Lakers, Phil Jackson, and Kobe. There is no one else on the team besides him and Kobe.

You'd be surprised, Kelvin Sampson has really turned that program around in one year. Eric Gordon, the #2 player in the nation, is going there next year, along with a handful of other decent players, and IU is already pretty young as it is. They are only losing one starter, assuming D.J. White doesn't enter the draft.
