Why were some accounts deleted?

My account as well as a few others were deleted. If you search for BD2006BD it will say User Does Not Exist! Also if I login it says

"You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password.

Also, if you look at a TR page some user names are blank. All of my posts and everything have been deleted.

I think it was just data loss in the server transfer.

Happened to me last night too, I lost everything and all my posts were deleted. The forum crashed and took some accounts with, but with the help of Admin I got mine back. Hopefully everyone else can get theirs back too.

Yea, I actually took that pic from d11ms post at A4F. I am just wondering if there is a way to recover it. I posted this here to see if there was an official word, I haven't seen anything yet.

I have tons of trades going on right now.

I just got back to the forums so I don't know if Tyler has done anything about it yet, but I can recover your user record from the old database backup from a week or so ago -- whenever we came up on this host. It may not reflect a current postcount or TR, but it would be closer than starting over.

PM me with your details and I'll see what I can do.

BD2006BD, your user record as of 02/06 should be restored. It should not affect the trades you had pending, as they are in another database and linked by your old user ID. Let me know if there's a problem, aside from the expected slight discrepancy in postcount/karma/TR.

Thanks a lot! I am back up and running. I am relieved that the trades are still there. Just off by a few on post / TR, but everything is great.
