Has anybody downloaded any of the games for the wii. I should be getting one and I'm really interrested in downloading the older games and playing the for the Wii.

How much do they cost? And do I need to be pay a monthy fee or something to even get to the games? Like I have cable internet, but do i have to pay for a special internet connection to be able to download the games?

I know that when you download a game it stores it onto an SD card. Can I buy a game and take it to my friends house and play the games on their wii?

I'm really interrested and want to know more.

You pay points for the games like on xbox live. It's $20 for 2000 points. Price for the game varies on how old the game is, and you can check it through your wii shopping channel. You don't need to pay to be able to browse that channel, and no, no special connection is needed.

No you can't bring games to your friend's, the games you buy are locked to your wii.

Bomberman 6$, Mario Kart 64 10$, Gunstar Heroes 8$, Contra III 8$ are worth it I think.

I can't wait to get my wii. I'll be getting Mario Kart 64, Super Mario World, and Super Mario NES. I know that. I can't wait!

I might go for Zelda too. I liked the one that was something like "the orcharina of time"

You probably havn't heard of this Genesis game. It was one of the Genesis's final games. It's called Ristar, and I'm telling you...it's one of the greatest games I've ever played. Buy it from the Virtual Console. D

How much HDD space is on a Wii?

512 MB of flash memory, but that's all you really need...unless you're going to download every Virtual Console game. P

Also, there's a slot for an optional SD card, so you could easily expand it to 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, etc.

Sounds much easier to get ROM Full Sets for NES, SNES, N64, TurboGrafix 16, and Genesis games from a private tracker and unload them on a modified XBOX.

What else is on their online service other than legal ROMs?
