This is what I'd recommend. At least post the link to the site in your post, and if people like the site, most will probably sign up under you anyway. I know I probably would, but I'd at least like to see the site first. lishrugli

I remember AllAdvantage... I also remember a certain little program called MyAdvantage that was used to cheat by simulating mouse movement so you could just run the program and get paid to sleep ;)

Anyone who has the website address post it. None of this PM me for the link B.S. That's almost as bad as posting it.

I wouldn't sign up under anyone who did that. You should post the link and make a little note if anyone wants to sign up under you, pm me and i'll give you a referral link, don't keep it a secret.

That's exactly what I said roll He could put the link TO the site, no ref link, and I think that most people would sign up under him if they thought it was a good site anyway. I don't want to have to be forced to PM you just to get the link to the site.

Edit man, i remember in high school, people found a way to cheat the system. There was this one "Paid to Surf" program that worked by detecting mouse movement. So this guy came up with the idea to just put his mouse on a neck massager. Everyone copied the idea and it worked. I didnt have one of those things so I couldnt. Back then I was less ethical, so i would have done it though. Anyway, they actually made an okay amount doing it.

It looks like a standalone program that sits right above your task bar
http//www.agloco.com/web/guest/viewbar
I don't know if it's worth it. You can only log up to 5 hours a month with the program. I can do that in one day ) Looks like it's more geared towards getting referrals under you.

So I guess you cant start surfing with the toolbar yet, since it isn't released. Any advantages of signing up now? And do you know where the toolbar will be released?

The most intriguing part is the fact that I cant seem to figure out how much they pay you. I assume its $1/hr, but then it says shares I think we get paid in company shares, this is good and bad means we can end up with a whole lot more money than getting paid a set amount or means we can end up with very little. I just dont know if we get a choice between shares or cash, very vauge so far hopefully they just startup soon already.

GPTS is a thing of the past in my opinion... It was worth doing when there were no time restrictions or any of that.. That was when you were merely renting advertisement space on your desktop and you were getting paid while you were using the computer. When AA was still around, people were clearing $1,000-$1,200 a month easy.

no, really?

[quote37a7473f84]If it was a bad idea the first time around, it’s probably a bad idea the second time around too. Mike was harsh on AGLOCO, a variation of the failed AllAdvantage pyramid scheme from a few years ago, when he wrote about their launch. He was right to question the business - they’re closing down. The following email was sent to at least some AGLOCO members

[quote37a7473f84]We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at email==agloco1@live.comagloco1@live.com=agloco1@live.comagloco1@live.com/email .

We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user. We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.[/quote37a7473f84]

AGLOCO is the reincarnation of AllAdvantage (complete with some of the same founders), a Web 1.0 company that paid users for viewing advertising through a toolbar. The founders, who blamed the stock crash in 2000 for the AllAdvantage faiure, claimed they’d get it right this time around. In particular, the ability to highly target advertising would allow them to generate enough revenue for a sustainable business.[/quote37a7473f84]

It worked for the consumer when AA launched (for a [ucbda9ec052]very[/ucbda9ec052] short period of time)

http//bp1.blogger.com/_DgXEgQgu9nU/RkV6KcRRepI/AAAAAAAAAaY/t7n-V5Q_yoE/s400/All+Advantage+Check.png[" alt=""/imgcbda9ec052]

But from the business standpoint, you would never gain. You would only drive your company further in the red.

Conclusion The business strategy is fucked.
