So I just finished this movie and I am amazed at how the electric car was murdered. A technology that worked [spoilerae5d0228ae]and GM just snatched up their cars and crushed them, even [iae5d0228ae]after[/iae5d0228ae] they said that they would recycle the parts. Bullshit.[/spoilerae5d0228ae]

Anyway, if you haven't seen this movie. I suggest you see it. It's one of the most informative and captivating commentary videos I have seen in awhile.

Yeah it is. It's very enlightening. Such a good idea was put to end.

I rented it from blockbuster online.

I have not seen the movie but I have heard the arguments against electric cars. Battery technology is imporving extremely slowly. It seems like we have hit a limit with Lithium and that provides a low voltage so you have to have a LOT of cells to up the voltage to something substantial. Also electricity comes from somewhere and from what I am aware most of it is not nuclear plants but coal or oil still. And it seems fuel cell technology looks extremely promising.

Haha, go watch the movie. Battery technology [i13028c3c8f]is[/i13028c3c8f] improving. In fact, Tesla motors has produced a car that will be avilable next year that will go 250miles per charge. approximately. GM ditched the concept because they didn't want to comply with the California ZEV mandate. And personally, I don't care if they go bankrupt, they made poor decisions.

[spoiler13028c3c8f]They wouldn't even let their EV1 test drivers keep their vehicles, they snatched them all up and destroyed them![/spoiler13028c3c8f]
