How does ebay work?

So I let my friend use my account because it had 12 Positive feedback and he had fallen on hard times. Well the dumbass didnt ship something out and I got negative feedback.

How does it work? Can I just make a new account and start from square one again?

yea....u could make as many accounts as you want on ebay.

^ Yep, what he said. It would kind of suck to start from scratch though. Maybe you should try working something out between you and the guy who left you the feedback.

it was only twelve feedbacks though. Maybe starting over isnt that bad if you use ebay a lot. If not, then like J4 said, try contacting the buyer.


So doesnt your email address that you register with have to be an edu or something, nothing like yahoo or gmail..... is there any way I can get an email out there for free that will work with ebay? You can also sign up with your credit card info if you have only a yahoo account, but mine are already linked because i am a seller and had to enter one in.

What do I do?[/quote11ee55e913]you can choose to input your cc information instead of having a business email. however they will take juno email accounts, and you can get a free email account through them somewhere..

i already used one of my credit cards and had to enter in my address, so i think if i used the other one it would recognize me as an existing user.


However +karma, i didnt know they take juno accounts. haha i had one like 10 years ago. I gotta reactivate it or get a new one.

No, I'm using a yahoo email account right now, I have no idea what they are talking about.

at the time when i signed up, you could use any email, but if it was not a business/edu type email, then you had to add your credit card info. I already added my cc info to my ebay account when i became a seller.

But the whole thing doesnt matter because i found out you can have more than one ebay account. I thought ebay only allowed one account per person, but that is PAYPAL that does that.

u could have multiply paypal accounts as well with different CC pre account.
